We sponsor the Veterans Day Cookout Celebration Dinner at our local VFW Club and feed hundreds of veterans and their families.
Every year on Veterans Day, we hold a special cookout celebration dinner at our local VFW Club to honor the men and women who have served our country. This event is free for all veterans and their families, and we typically serve between 250 and 350 people.
In addition to providing a delicious meal, we also use this event as an opportunity to raise funds for our organization and to recruit new members.
We are proud to be able to provide this service to our community, and we are grateful for the support of our sponsors and volunteers.
Here are some additional details about our Veterans Day cookout:
- The event is held on November 11th immediately following the VFW’s Annual Veterans Day Program.
- The dinner is free for all veterans and their families.
- We serve a variety of food, including chicken, BBQ ribs, spaghetti, green beans, potato salad, desserts, and drinks.
- We also have live music and entertainment.
We encourage all veterans and their families to come out to our Veterans Day cookout and join us for a fun and festive evening.
